Hydrogen and Sustainable Fuels

The modul contains specific aspects of hydrogen combustion and sustainable eFuel combustion. In form of a seminar topics will be addressed: Alternative fuels like hydrogen, ammonia, eFuels: Advantages and challenges, including combustion properties, application, burner design questions, production, environmental impact. The modul "Hydrogen and Sustainable Fuels" can be taken within the same semester as the modul "Sustainable Combustion" (5 ECTS). The modul "Hydrogen and Sustainable Fuels" will be organised in the form of a seminar with approximately four meetings of 3 hours at the end of the winter semester (first meeting mid of December for the introduction and organisation of individual project contributions, the other seminar meetings will be with presentations from the participants and discussion in January). The credit point is given as free tutorial point or within Studium Generale. The seminar is an excellent preparation for study or master thesis projects in this field.
